Co-ops, condos, and most rental buildings in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens require a COI from your moving company before they allow elevator access or loading dock use. The COI must list your building's management company or board as an additional insured and meet minimum coverage thresholds -- typically $1 million in general liability. We file COIs same-day in most cases at no extra charge. If your building has a specific carrier requirement, send us the addendum and we handle it.
Doorman buildings across the Upper East Side, Hudson Yards, and downtown Brooklyn typically allocate 2-to-3-hour move windows. We book these in advance, arrive early, and work within your building's rules. We do not show up and figure it out on the spot.
Moving a truck in Midtown Manhattan or along Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn without a NYC DOT parking permit is a ticket and a delay. We manage permit applications for jobs that require them.
